As editor of the Spartan Daily, I managed writing, editing, layout, and design while mentoring peers and upholding strong editorial integrity. My main commitments are to accountability, accurate representation, and truth-driven journalism.

Managing writers and editors, keeping an eye on local and global news blending the two together to create a focus for the local community, pitching out stories while managing editors’ pitches and ideas.

Contributing reporter to the paper, establishing relationships with local community organizations, planning and establishing the editorial calendar for the paper and news section.
